FAQs for Leather Classes
Do I need to bring my own leather or tools to class?
No. All materials and tools required to complete the product will be provided. You will be handling some high-end Kyoshin Elle crafting tools from Japan and stitching-up premium Vegetable-Tanned Leathers from Italy. (Shell Cordovan Leathers are also available for separate leathercrafting course).
Do I need to pay extra for the leather and tools?
No. All materials and tools are included in the class fee. (Unless otherwise stated).
Can I bring my own leather to make the product?
No. Not all leathers are suitable to make the product you have signed up for. Different leathers need different techniques which may not conform to class syllabus. You will need to use the leather provided by the us.
Who are the Leather Artisans facilitating?
The Leather Artisans facilitating Atelier Lodge’s Leathercrafting Courses are professional leathercrafters who are the designers/producers for our parent company – Obbi Good Label Pte Ltd. All leathercrafters have vast experience of at least 10 over years in leathercrafting fields, with Obbi Good Label’s leather products selling in overseas stockists and local retails.
What should I bring to class?
Bring yourself! All tools and materials are provided. You may want to bring a jacket in case you are cold. It is recommended to wear covered footwear for safety reasons.
How can I sign up for your class?
For Basic Leather Classes, click on the class you are interested in on the calendar schedule and add to cart. You can make payment via credit card or paypal.
What is the minimum age limit to attend the class?
Minimum age is 16 years old. Our classes involve the use of sharp tools. We require students to use cutting knives, mallets and leather equipments responsibly. Unless stated, most of our classes are not suitable for children.
Do you have classes for children?
We do not have classes for children as a standard. However, we can design a simple leather class catered for children. This will fall under our private classes and you can email us for more information.
Will the class be cancelled if only one person turned up?
No. All classes listed will go on regardless of number of persons enrolled.
Can I book a private class?
Yes you can. Please drop us an email regarding the type of product or class you are interested in as well as the dates and we will give you a quotation.

We sell a wide variety of leathercrafting tools and accessories. Please come down to our store to view our full selection.
Do you sell in bulk?
Yes, we do sell tools in bulk purchases but you will need to order in advance.

Safety and Healthcare
Our workshop/studio follows rules and guidelines stipulated on https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/covid-19.
- Atelier Lodge is a private workshop/studio. All entry are appointment-based.
- SafeEntry and Face Mask are mandatory before entry.
- Temperature will be taken at the entrance. Symptoms of fever (temp. above 37.5), dry coughs will not be allowed.
- Class seats are position 1-meter apart for social distancing.
- Our workshop space can accommodate up to 8 pax even 1-meter distancing requirement.
- We provide hand sanitizers, face masks and gloves if required.
- All tools and equipment, furniture are disinfect after every class.
- Workshop environment is disinfect start of day and end of day.
- Staff working in the workshop follows same rules before entering for work and wash their hands before work commence.
