Sew Fun! x Atelier Lodge ( Leather and Canvas Workshop) – Nov

WORKSHOP MODULES

You will make and take home a total of 7 projects; 3 canvas, 3 leather and 1 canvas/leather bag.

Each module is progressive and allows the student to learn more advanced techniques with every lesson.

Leather project 1: Luggage Tag / Pass Holder

Learn different cutting techniques and the installation of stud buttons.

Leather project 2: Wristband

Learn how to install buckles and measure/cut without templates.

Leather project 3: Zippered Pouch

Learn how to hand sew zips on leather, install rivets, and make a hand strap.

Canvas project 1: Tote Bag

Learn the basics of sewing machine operation.

Canvas project 2: Lunch Bag

Learn how to create depth, linings, and install rivets.

Canvas project 3: Zippered Pouch

Learn how to machine sew zips.

Final project: Leather-Canvas Bag

Learn how to attach a leather pocket, base, and shoulder straps to a canvas bag that is large enough to fit a laptop.

Due to the nature of the equipment required for this workshop, classes will be held in two venues:

• Atelier Lodge, 8 Perak Road, Singapore 208129

More details will be provided upon registration.

This class is suitable for those without prior experience in leatherwork and/or sewing. To ensure that each student gets sufficient attention, this workshop will have a maximum of 5 students.
